We hosted an intimate event in Hamburg's Speicherstadt. The focus was on two of our musicians: Juliana Diaz Chico and Yaroslav Kravchuk. Of course, there was a lot of music. And a very special treat for our audience.

Prompted by overlaps in trademark law, we have faced the challenge of finding a new company and brand name. Our new name also reflects a broader vision. Here is what Polytone stands for.

Our team member Anja represented Polytone at the world's largest industry network meeting for classical and art music: the Classical:NEXT. After a little hesitation, her slightly queasy feeling turned into anticipation and excitement at being able to represent us at a conference of this magnitude and to be able to support and help musicians with mentoring sessions. Here’s her personal report.

Together with Intalcon and supported by the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft, the Bundesinitiative Impact Investing, and stiftungsmarktplatz.eu, we organized an event dedicated to how foundations can double their impact and helped interested foundation representatives and asset managers delve deeper into the concept of impact investing.

It was an eventful journey from Treviso, Italy, via Hamburg to New York for Chris, as well as his Italian guitar. Thanks to the talented American musician, we could deepen our cooperation with Italian luthier and master Luciano Lovadina. At our New Year's concert, Chris presented a varied program on his new guitar for the first time, including a self-composed piece for guitar and cello.

A very special week for Philipp, Founder & CEO of Polytone: He had the privilege to present our business at SPACE day to none other than Carsten Brosda, Hamburg's Senator of Culture, and just the next day, he played his cello to a crowd of 3-year-old toddlers.

The extensive search for a double-bass in Germany, Italy, and Spain – by train! It’s a struggle to find an instrument that suits perfectly in terms of sound and ergonomics. Luisa travelled across Europe to try different instruments before she heard about us and got in touch. Here’s her story – including (spoiler alert!) the happy end.
